Here is mine another 4 hrs later, facebook quite a few times, talked to the wife for 15 minutes at lunch, etc.... I have perfect signal at work and I also get about 80 percent signal on wimax. Maybe the cell reception really is the entire problem.

Yep, got me too, went off at 6, hit the snooze slide and woke up 40 minutes later. Checked it last night and the snooze does not work. I went back to the trusty ol' alarm clock radio. Never had that problem on my evo though.

I agree, here in the CLT NC area all my friends and I have great service, 3g is around 1.2mg and 4g is 4-10mg.

In areas where my evo dropped calls the touch holds them, I have noticed a better call quality and reception over my evo. As far as the audio, tweak the built in equalizer and I think it sounds pretty good for a stock system. Nothing can touch CM7 with dsp manager but it works just fine for stock.

This may be true but it must be implemented different. The guy that works 10 feet from me has the 3d, he can leave his 4g on all day and it kills the battery by about 3pm, now granted the battery sucks on that thing just like the og evo but I can leave mine on 4g all day let it sit for an hour...

I cant believe none of the reviews talk about the sleep function on 4g. It is one of the greatest features on the phone if you ask me. My evo was the same, if it was left on it would suck the battery down in no time. I can leave this one on all day and it no different than 3g.

I leave it on all day at work. I get the same battery as 3g because it has the sleep function. That is a feature that is rarely talked about and it is great. I can surf 4g all day and still have like 60% battery when I go home. I get 6-8 mg/s at work. It is instant, almost as fast as my desktop.:)
