I've had to reinstall the call confirm app as the Moto G is doing the auto dialling again. A complete factory reset and even a new phone were only temporary fixes. There is a bug in this phone and it gets worse over time. Here's hoping that the Android 5.0 update resolves this.

If clearing the cache doesn't help you could also try installing a third party browser like firefox and see if it has the same problems. If firefox is fine, it may be an issue where you would have to factory reset the tablet itself, or just use firefox (or other browser).
