I agree. A factory reset would make a lot of sense in the case above and would likely lead to fixing the issues.

Yes, if you root, programs such as Titanium Backup can do a full backup of your phone.

How's the battery life compared to the stock ROM on Thundershed? That's the one I keep seeing repeated as the most stable. I just rooted last week, and did a friends TB too, and mostly was to remove the bloat but I also got the wireless hotspot working now so that's nice when we got on trips...

When the TB originally came out it was the only 4G phone out there and now we're competing against a LOT of other 4G phones for the same bandwidth. If those other phones have better radios, which is very likely given they are quite a bit newer, this would all make sense to me.

Do you have the Rezound battery in your Bolt? The stock battery sucks for the tbolt but with the rezound in there I'm pretty pleased with battery life now.

Same here.

My wife and I both got tablets for Christmas and I got the flyer and she got an Acer iconia. Initially I was a little jealous but hers has had many issues and is unusable at times while the flyer has been rock solid for me. I'm not really a huge fan of HC on her tablet either. I can wait.

Fyi, just noticed it happening with the stock mail app on my HTC Flyer tablet too.

I've been using K9 for a few days and it works fine. The mail messages don't disappear as they do in the stock mail app. However, I totally despise the K9 app and want to uninstall it but for now it at least shows the message.

Mine started doing this EXACT same thing over the past couple of days. Very annoying. I just restarted my phone and it seems to be working for now, think it'd been a couple or three days since I'd turned it off or restarted.
