You can not delete the update. I'm guessing it's the Nougat 7.0 update. The only way is to allow the update to continue. U.S. versions have locked bootloaders so with out rooting the device it will remain on your phone. If you don't mind me asking why don't you want the update? It will...

I'd like to know as well!! If I could switch carriers I would! Unfortunately Verizon is the only carrier that works here. Sprint has little coverage, t-mobile is none and AT&T is even worse. 🙁

Wish Verizon would release this... Still waiting for the goodness of the Nougat.. :(

Hello Android Central. Just wanted to introduce myself to the group. Have been a long time android user, tried out the IPhone was not liking the locked up OS and switched back to my beloved Android, currently sporting the S7 edge and loving it. Just wanted to say Hello.

I get a pop up on occasion and not sure what it means. Been out of android for a year and a half on iPhone 6 plus switched back to android and choose th Samsung s7 edge. But unsure what it means. Researched but couldn't find anything. Thanks in advance.
