It does because it output is higher than a normal charger. You normally charge at 1.0 but the note 2 charger and some chargera you find online charge at 1.5-2.0. Im not sure if its volts or olhms. Im sure because my homie zedomaxx posted a video on a charger that charges faster than normal...
