An ability to appropriately title a thread for one. Make sure you have the appropriate drivers for the phone - they are available on-line.

I unlocked the bootloader and rooted right away. I have not tried a custom ROM yet, but I will. I have flashed the new radios and use lots of root required apps that make the GN even more amazing! I had a Droid X before this, but I never rooted. I see now that was a mistake. Live N learn!

I'm new to rooting, but from what I understand every root is temporary because you can always unroot with this device.

I want to see an app that allows me to use Power Amp app with cloud music whether it be Google Music or some other free music cloud storage. Someone please create this! Thanks! What app do you want to see created?

Thanks for all the help! I have another question, this time about custom kernels. Do all all custom ROMs go with all custom kernels? If not how to do you tell which ones go together without experimenting? Is compatibility shown somewhere?

I used the new radios all day and they made a huge difference in my signal issues and battery life. All my problems seemed solved!

No never heard of this issue. Did you reboot to see if it fixes it?

Loving the new radios. Both my reception and my battery life have improved since I flashed them on.

I imagine the custom ROMs will check out the OTA updates and pull out the best parts and put them into the next version of their custom ROM. So I imagine you'll get the best parts of the OTA update even if you flash the custom ROM. I assume that is correct, right?
