I stayed on the beta track and just got op4 this afternoon

If you are on the beta the only way you will get the stable release is by downgrading to the last stable version 5.1.11 I believe it was and then download the stable version 9.

Yeah from what I heard it never made it into the release. Perhaps a future update?

This is how google designed it in Android 9. The same thing happened on my pixel as well.

What did you use to back up and restore the data?

Based on the one plus forum those on the beta track will have to download the install file and load it. Which will mean we have to do a fresh install.

You have to open the community app, and click on profile. After clicking on profile you should see the bug report option.

Works well , only issue I have is with the phone app. If I search for a contact using the magnifying icon, after I enter the third character the app crashes.

The difference is more apparent in low light situations. in good lighting unless you are a true photo nut you won't notice a real difference.

I second that as well. I switched from a 2XL to the 1 plus and don't see myself going back. battery life for me was slightly better on the pixel with 9.0.

I do charge it at that amount, I'm used to charging just before I head to bed. Don't have a car charger and if I left it alone my phone would be dead by the time I get in the office. it is an hour plus drive. With that said today I am doing better. It is 11 pm, phone came off the charger 15.5...

I take my phone off the charger around 7 am. At around 10 pm I will be down to 30% with 2 hours SOT maximum 3 hours.

I have the same behavior, the only time I hear the assisstant is when I activate by saying ok Google. I am using the supplied case with the 6. but for my 5 I had used the sandstone bumper and no complaints.

I can't answer all of your questions, but I have the tempered glass protector from one plus and it fits great. i haven't noticed that my screen is "oily" as you put it.
