Been paying more attention to the battery life on my 6P and I'm not sure if it got better with the latest version of N but it's going pretty good. Too many factors involved with too little info to make blanket statement for all. It works for me though.

You will be happy for a lot then. I never had the problems you mention either. Multiple Samsung devices and they didn't fail more than any other device I had.
