It works about 0% of the time now. I'd like to avoid a factory reset but it might have to happen.

Not sure if it was from the April update or what, but my fingerprint sensor which I used all the time has gone from nearly perfect to annoying at best. I tried resetting my fingerprints and that did nothing. Anyone else in this problem and any fix?

I call voicemail, it asks for my password. I've never set up a password... There's no way to interrupt or get out of the only menu I reach: "Please enter your password." Any help?

Agreed with the amazing battery life! I'm out and about during the days, and I don't like charging my phone overnight, so I do all I can no matter how good the battery is. With everything off (wifi/data/bluetooth/always on/location) I usually lose about 10% of battery through an 8-9 hour night...

I turn off WiFi, data and location before I go to bed (except maybe some Friday and Saturday nights hehe). Would turning on battery saver make a big difference? It may be worth noting that I have the screen setting "Always On" turned off. Thanks!

Ahh...bloatware. If it came out of the box like that it usually can't be reduced by much. You won't be able to uninstall most of them, but you can go through each individual app you don't want, hold it down and drag it to the "uninstall" drawer that appears at the top of the screen if allowed...

Whatever they're calling Google Now these days, maybe Google Feed, it is showing trending stories. I think I remember allowing trending stories somewhere in the settings but I can't seem to find it. Anyone know where to do this? Thanks in advance

I don't think the burn-in is an issue for lighter colored pixels, but I could be wrong. My Moto x devices never had burn-in, but they pulsed every few seconds. I wish the Pixel did this and/or only showing ambient display when it senses a hand over the phone or when the phone goes from covered...

They already did dark themes for a long time, plus stock android already has the ability to switch between dark and light, albeit automatically based on wallpaper.

So, this begs the question(s)... Does the location need to be on for the temperature to show, or will the temp always show? And if the temp always shows, I'm assuming it won't update temp when you change location?

I haven't come across a way to omit temperature in the widget. The widget is so simple, I think it's all or nothing.

Hey all, On a stock Pixel 2 XL my home screen widget (that I love, coming from BW) went from showing date and weather to showing just the date. I've searched online for answeres, but haven't found anything that I've been able to do on my phone. Any solutions?
