How are you protecting your EVO?

I currently use the HTC branded case from Sprint with the 3 color combinations. It fits well and all functions are easily manipulated. No screen protector here either. Waiting for the Otterbox Defender to come out and will be protecting my EVO with it like all my other smartphones.

    Metal Cases for the Droid

The metal case does not hinder typing on the virtual keyboards at all. The only hinderince I have encountered is with the notification bar on top. Getting your finger just right to swipe down is difficult with large fingers.

    Metal Cases for the Droid

I just received the aluminum case for my Droid and it fits great. Yeah you have to open it to get to the physical keyboard but I really don't use it so no issue for me. Anyway, it is protected on the inside by a neoprene liner and fits snug. All access points are good to go. Hardly adds...

    Buying online from Verizon

You won't get the same customer service if you buy online vs in a store. Also remember most employees work on commission and will not help you to the full potential if you get the phone online. They get nothing for customer service issues. How do I know this. I have a friend that works for...

I too, am a BB convert. Went from Tour to Droid and never looked back. The only thing that took getting used to with the Droid was the keyboards. After a couple weeks, everything is fine.
