Nvidia shield too hot

Hi guys. So finally I received my tablet and at first glance thought I went to small of a screen but after a week of use I love it. Only last night the tablet was on but locked screen was off and when I woke up this morning it was super hot. Anyone tablet getting hot when not in use?

Can you show us what the Settings>Battery screen look like? It may give an idea of what was working overtime to heat up the device.

Good idea when I return home I will the tablet would not allow me to turn it on cause it was super hot

No it has not done it again since then when I got home it was dead. Since the full charge back to life have had no problems
