GPS is not 'fixing' on satellites.

Has anyone looked at the number of satellites being used for a fix on position?
My shield tablet never gets a fix on my position even though it shows up to 12 'visible', but no fix.

I'm using GPS Essentials to view satellites to confirm my suspicion and it only showed max of 2 satellites used for a fix, after having it on for 20min, and being by a window with 12 satellites 'visible'. I've confirmed that behavior with several other GPS apps.

Ok, so I used Amazon's return policy to receive another Shield tablet. I compared the new one to first one. The GPS on the replacement picks up GPS satellites way better than the first one. After doing a bunch of comparison testing, I'm convinced that I'm totally justified in returning the fist tablet I received.
