My initial impression on the battery life front is good. I put the tablet in priority mode all night (which used to cause a steady battery drain) and it had only lost 3% over the course of about ten hours between checking it.

Hopefully, this keeps up =)

Since the update, my Shield Tab runs so much better! It's quicker, no crashes, no WiFi issues, and charges much faster with my turbo charger. Love it...again!

I literally just done this update and the wifi isn't working at all now. I've turned the device off and on, tried turning airplane mode on and off again too, still isn't working. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

A small hotfix updating my tablet to 2.2.1 arrived this evening with the following notes-

- Display color-space correction
- Improvements to Netflix experience

Settings - - > About tablet - - > System updates

Normally, you should see a message in the notification bar alerting you that a system update is available but the above will allow you to check manually.

You can always verify your current version by Settings/About Tablet

On that window, I see the Android version (5.0.1), build number, kernel version and baseband version. Where within does it note which Shield Tablet patch is installed?
