Article page layout, why pages & not all the default?

Hi guys

Been thinking about this since the redesign (and hoping that the site would learn my preferences), why does the articles always default to "1 of pages 6" when accessing them on the desktop?
On a phone, I can somewhat understand it (not that I like it...), loading it in page formatting saves some loading time, but not on desktop...

Could you please make it a setting so I can choose to always "see all"? I'm getting tired off always having to hit it every time I read an article that's more than one page.

And if there is a way to do it already, my apologies...

There should be a 'view all' button you can hit:

Yep, the button is there, but I would like to have the option to make "view all" the default. Perhaps as a setting?
