Where's the Delete (my post) Button?

I feel foolish asking this, but ... I can't find the way to delete a post of mine when replacing it completely with a new post would be better than just editing it. The "Edit/Delete" button gives me an editing screen, but I don't see any way to dump the post. There must be an "instructions for posting" page somewhere on the site, but I haven't found that, either. Information will be appreciated in spades.

Unfortunately there is no option to delete posts for general users. Should you have a need to delete a post, please feel free to use the report post to moderator button

Thanks it was just a matter of posting before I added the relevant quote. Thought I'd just delete the quote-less version and let the quote-included version stand. No problem, really.
