Tapatalk AC Forums Connection Issue/Solution

We've received a few recent reports from members that they are having problems connecting to the forums via Tapatalk.

If this is happening to you, please remove and re-add the Android Central forums from your Tapatalk forums list. If you still have connection problems please reply here.

I tried to doing that as well as uninstalling and then reinstalling tapatalk. No luck, I'm still not able to access Android Central.

Can't upload images via tapatalk which I've done as recently as Sunday. I get a error msg that says: the file you are uploading is not a valid image format. Its a .png screenshot picture. Please fix

This is my first time uploading an image via tapatalk, just seeing if it works.
I have had no connection issues.

The exact error msg I'm getting is "The file you have uploaded is not a valid image format". I've went into the image details and IT IS A .PNG FILE. If you check out the LG optimus s forum there's a thread called "post your homescreen" and I posted pics like Sunday with no problem. I only bought this app for that reason. I used my browser before that and am about to go back to that and delete tapatalk if this isn't fixed. I can use the internal space for other apps I want. I'm not sure what the issue is but can someone point me in the right direction. I don't too much mind errors with free apps but tapatalk wasn't free

I can't reproduce this. Are you sure there isn't something wrong with the file itself? Try downloading one of my files from above and see if you can re-upload it.

Ok you motivated me to dig into the problem and I got it. "Shoot me" was taking screenshots as PNG images. I changed them to JPEG and it allowed me to upload. Thanks for helping

I thought it might be a PNG thing too but my post above was PNG files. I tried both the option to host on Tapatalk and host on our servers and they both worked. Maybe it's shootme related. I'll try that out too. shootme rocks, but I haven't used it for a while.

I normally use shootme, but I haven't reinstalled it yet since I hard reset my Fascinate. Been so busy I haven't had much play time with my phone as I used to. I'll get it back on there and try it out though.

I just joined and am having this issue.

I cannot login to Tapatalk on my Nexus 7.or Galaxy Nexus.
Get error message saying "failed to connect to forum if the problem persists contact the forum administer"
