I have. But I had 10.1 on my other phone so I'm used to using it now

There really isn't a difference except the camera was a big change most of it is really the same so I don't know why its so important.

I like the quick settings menu but I was using SlimBean for the Infuse and everything in that ROM was so customisable! I didn't know what to do with all the options

For me I'm not in a big rush. I'm happy with CM10 stable, so the improvements from 4.1 to 4.2 is smaller than ICS to JB. That being said, I'd like to have the Sphere feature just before my overseas trip...oh well. :)

Tried it, it's not as clean as I had hoped. It has a long way to go.

What were things that you didn't like about it?

After switching, and even after looking at my wife's stock Skyrocket, there were more positives that outweighed the negatives by flashing the ROM. Maybe it's because of TouchWiz and the bloatware, and that I miss that clean Android experience that I got from my Nexus One, that got me to do the switch.

I'm on cm10 I'm saying that 4.2 isn't a huge change from 4.1.2 and half of those changes I have by flashing 4.2 gapps anyway.

If I wanted to start compiling my own code and building my own ROM would I HAVE to do it on Linux?

Yes or in a Linux vm. I'm on Linux exclusively its a change but not one that can't be overcome

Well that's GREAT news! Everyone I'm sure is happy to hear that. Because once one ROM is up and running it's that much easier for everyone to do their own little tweaks to it
