I just got my first android, its the Samsung Galaxy Ace from Telus. I'm trying to figure out the pros and cons of rooting my phone. The main reason I want to root is to be able to get rid of the apps that were pre-installed on my phone that I know I am never going to use ... my phone doesn't have a lot of space and all the apps I want to have I have to send to my memory card.
If someone could help me with this ... that would be awesome! I'm a little bit of a newbie here, switched from a BB last week.
