More details here: Android inApp Feedback and Support

Beta stage is going to start in a few weeks, so if you are interested click on the "BETA access request" button and fill the small Google docs form.

There will be 3 service plans:

  • Free (with some limitations e.g. number of feedback # /month or inability to reply)
  • Paid service (full functionality)
  • Free for open source projects (full functionality)

The library is almost ready, now working on the server side. It has a very small memory footprint, supports SDK 1.5+ and the UI is fully theme-able.
Why?

  • An attempt to mitigate those negative reviews, just because some user could not touch/click on a TAB/button/Settings.
  • Does not require any personal information from the user (name, email, etc). The user just has to type his comment. and that's it. (can't be bothered factor is minimised)
  • No internet connectivity? no problem. The comments are stored locally, and once internet connectivity is again established they are pushed to the server.
  • You'll get notified by e-mail as soon as a new question/idea/bug is received, and you'll be able to reply to that comment. The next time the user uses your application, he will be notified of your reply. Once everything is sorted, politely ask him for a 5star review.

The overall goal is to improve the communication experience between you and your customers/users.
Once the project goes live, beta testers will get access to the paid service (w/out paying a dime)

Cheers
