Unroot question

if i unroot my htc evo will i loose all my settings and apps. is there a way to keep all of that besides using titanium backup? Please let me know

Your settings will be gone but the market will keep your downloaded apps if you use the same account

When you root then unroot a phone, does it mean that all your personal stuff are gone too, like contacts, emails, account syncs, etc?

In other words, unrooting brings the phone basically back to stock -- as it was first day out of the box?
