Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

My parents are up in years, but they need cell phones. They only need to make calls and take pictures, but they need large keys. Everything but smart phones is shrinking, and even the dumb phones are getting unnecessarily complicated.

I came up with a solution: Android for senior citizens. A launcher with two large icons: phone and camera. Choose phone, and you get two icons: dialer or phone book. Phone book would be four images per screen of contacts.

Sounds useful. It would be a lot of work. To do it right you would need to develop your own user interface and your own ROM. It would be really cool though and you may even get interest from companies if you were to make sure you patent the idea.. although I'm sure it's already patented. And btw.. **** software patents..

LMAO.. make sure you can put a recovery/wipe app and a gps tracker on it. That way if they have Alzheimer's of are just really forgetful, you can find or lock/wipe device remotely.
