Touch Screen not responsive (in a weird way)

On the left side of my screen, it is always non-responsive.
However, this only happen when the phone is un-plugged.
When it's plugged into a laptop (whether the laptop is on or off, doesn't matter), this touch screen problem is fixed.
Weird, isn't it?
I tried updating the software, using repair through PC companion. Nothing work, except...plugging it into my laptop = =''

Be very careful, the top of my phone touchscreen stopped working completely, after so many failed attempts to try and fix this it seems to be un fixable. Shame these phones do this :/
