what is wrong with my touchscreen?

I'm currently using Samsung Xperia E4. My phone goes all-out bat**** crazy if I try to scroll up or down. When using facebook for example, first it goes really fast, then it doesn't allow me to scroll down (as it's scrolling itself upwards). I't makes my phone really hard to use and I'm not even sure what I should type in to google when seraching for this type of problem.
