My Nexus 10 developed a terrible lag problem, so I purchased the Tablet Z as a possible replacement. Don't believe the reviewer hype about the Tablet Z. It's light and that's great, but the low res screen is a deal killer. Luckily, I was able to get my Nexus 10 back working. Nearly a year old, the Nexus 10 is a nicer tablet at a lower price. I also much prefer the Nexus 10's ergonomic shape to the Tablet Z's sharp edges. The Tablet Z reminded me a bit of an Apple product - it was clearly designed with a concern of form over function.

Had 2 nexus 10 units, both went back with faults. Now have a Z and so far so good, doesn't lose WiFi and the video playback is almost as smooth as my iPad, the nexus was choppy. It was a toss up between the Z and a note 2014 edition, happy so far.

I have tried the Note 10 2014 Edition, great device but I just hated the physical home screen buttons at the bottom that makes it hard to use vertically. I do not have that problem with the Tablet Z.

I really love the Z, except maybe for the weak sound.
