Android Update Now Can't See Notifications On Lock Screen

I have an Android OS on my Sony Xperia. I use to be able to see my notifications on my lock screen. Monday evening, Android OS updated, now I cannot see those notifications. 1) How do I find out what Xperia model do I have 2) how do I get my notifications to show on my lock screen? Thanks.

To find out the model, go to Settings>About Phone, and look for the Model Name/Number.

For lockscreen notifications, go to Settings>Sound & Notification and see if there is an option there. It might also be in a Settings>Screen Lock & Security menu. Different manufacturers may arrange their menus differently.
