Can you tell le whey there is no headset/headphones icon on Xperia XA dual Sim ?

Hi all
New to Marshmallow OS
Am using Sony Xperia XA Dual sim
The sound works fine but no icon when its plugged in.
I dont see the headset/headphones icon on the top of the phone
Can you help please ?

Welcome to Android Central! I'm not directly familiar with that phone, but not all devices will show a headphone icon in the status bar when headphones are plugged in. My Nexus 6P does not show one.
