Just thought I would post a little something. My old phone (Droid DNA) was awful with night shots. The Z2 in comparison is amazing!
But how does it compare to a nice newish camera phone, say the note 3.
Pretty well I would say.
My friend and I took the same picture at the same time. The Z2 looks the same as the Note 3 while taking the picture (very dim, only small lights), but once you take the picture, the processing takes over and does amazing work!
Results speak for themselves. Both were in auto with flash OFF.
Friend sent the picture via NFC right after being taken.
Z2 on top, Note 3 on bottom.
