Stock alarm clock " Clock" isn't working until you wake it up.

Anyone notice lately that the stock android app, " Clock " isn't setting off the alarm, until you swipe or whatever, to open it/take it off the locking feature. I have the alarm set to go off at certain time. I watch it,,and nothing happens..but when i swipe/pin passcode/pattern swipe it open,,then the phone's set alarm goes off.

That is strange. You could try clearing the app data or clearing your phone's cache partition.

Some mysterys require too much trial and error to find a solution. I decided to just format and return phone to original factory configuration. Problem solved.
