After screen replacement I have no sound and the volume buttons don't work

Hi, hope someone can shed some light on this problem I have.

I recently replaced the screen and back on my Sony xperia Z3 compact but now have no sound and the volume button only goes down.

I have looked this up on Google and it says that you should replace the flex cable and that will solve the problem but mine doesn't have a flexible?

Any ideas what else would cause this?

Disassemble it again carefully and you may spot some contact not being in the right place, or some wire not being plugged in.. Check any cables thoroughly for breaks, pull off all connections (that you disconnected last time) and push back in again firmly.
If you have no joy, probably a repair shop where they have the tools and diagnostic equipment to test everything...
