How about Sony Xperia Z series Android updates

I wounder how is Sony Xperia Z updates proces to latest Android uppdates like 4.4.2 too 4.4.3 or 4.4.4 or too Android L.
Because I want too buy Z3 because iam tired of Samsung slow uppdates and blotware.

Sony's updates this year were faster than everyone else except Moto, and even then they were only weeks apart. Although in a couple of countries 4.4.4 was out faster on Sony than Moto.

Wrong. I can't speak for when your carrier releases updates for the Z1s model, but that's not Sony's problem. Here's a couple of KitKat version dates for the Z1 compared between Google and Sony.

Google 4.4.2: December 2013
Xperia Z1 4.4.2: March 2014
Approximately 3 months later

Google 4.4.4: June 19 2014
Xperia Z1 4.4.4: June 27 2014

Yeah, the holdup with upgrades for the Z1s was Tmo, not Sony.

Your post has nothing to do with when Sony releases updates. The OP asked how Sony is for updates, not how your carrier is. What are YOU trying to do?

This is kind of a concern for me too. I have a Nexus5 but I use T-Mobile and wanna take advantage of WiFi calling so I'm looking at getting the z3 when it comes out. I'm kinda worried about how long it will take for version L of Android to make it past Sony and then T-Mobile.
