Curious if anyone has a source for Sony update change log for their devices.. Like Samsung etc.. Puts out tentative time for device updates.. I don't want to have to wait for the Z4 to come out just to get android L

Since L hasn't yet been released officially released by Google, it would be difficult to identify when we might see L for the Z3. Also, if you purchase the TMo variant, there could be carrier delays in releasing the update.

To be clear that's a reference to the Xperia L device, not Android L directly. But you're right that supporting AOSP the way Sony does means L could come quickly.

I doubt you'll have to worry, the only android OEM to beat Sony to 4.4.4 was Motorola and that was by about a week. In India, Sony got there first. They're on the ball.
