Is Z3 still IP68 certified after repair?

Hi, I just received my brand new Xperia Z3 on monday. Today the mic stopped working. I contacted the seller and they took the phone and gave me a replacement while it was being repaired. I just checked and I should have been offered a replacement as it's been less than 15 days. I don't mind the wait of the repair, but I'm just curious as to the quality of the repair. Supposedly the phone has been sent to an Authorized Repair Centre, but I really don't know what the actual affiliation is to Sony. I just want to make sure that the phone will still be IP68 certified after the repairs.

As long as the repair is done in an authorized service center, yes, the phone should still be IP68 certified. But, as usual with repairs (and manufacturing, even), humans err, so there's a chance your repair doesn't seal the phone entirely. But again, as long as it's done through the official channels, your warranty is still in effect.
