im interested in buying the z3 compact or z1 compact, on sony.com, the phones are pretty expensive, and on ebay they a little bit cheaper. i came across a website: Marie Digitalz | Always Quality and it has the z1 compact for 230$ (399 on sony.com) and the z3 compact for 350$ (499 on sony.com)

my first reaction to the prices being so cheap was "it has to be used or fake models"

does anybody have any experience with this website?

As far as how reliable Marie Digitalz is, I usually check sites like ResellerRatings.com for customer ratings, but it appears that the site is too new (or no one has any complaints).

It looks like there are two versions of the Z3 Compact. Marie Digitalz is selling the D5833 version of the Z3C, which usually seems to be cheaper than the D5803 version of the Z3C (at least that's what I noticed when I was looking to buy my Z3C (which I'm very happy with)).

The main difference between the two Z3Cs appears to be which bands they support. You'll probably want to check which one works better for you in your region.

From comments I've seen online, it seems like the D5833 is intended for Asia (India?) and the D5803 is intended for the rest of the world.

thank you! now i know the z1 compact also comes in 2 region models. the D5503 is the international version which is used here in the united states, but on eBay, i see this model coming with an European charger. any idea what that means? Also..

ive seen z1 compact boxes with the "lte enabled" logo on it, and some z1 compact boxes dont have that..

as seen here: http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTU0NlgxNTk5/z/~g4AAOSwQJhUix2F/$_57.JPG <- lte enabled

This website is a total SCAM! You can order the phone, put in all Zeros in the credit card info and it will appear to process it. The next day you will receive an email advising you that they have that phone in stock / ready to ship but, their "credit card processor" is currently not working. They'll ask you to send instead a "Western union" money transfer. DON'T!!! You will never receive squat and once the money is sent your screwed . . -Davis

P.S. I reported this and their other websites to the FBI and they sent me back a "form" letter to fill out (which I did) and never heard back from them. It's been over a month & a half now and no contact from the FBI: Guess they have: "bigger fish to fry" !?! -Sad but, true!
Maybe you and I should set up our own "Western Union" Web site ? LOL...
