I agree. And the Broncos win. That should shut up the knuckleheads that think Ellie is better than Payton just because he has one more ring

    Ughhhhhhhhh.

13-3 and double OT? Not bad. There's always next year.

I hope the Ravens win the Super Bowl. They're my second favorite team.

Yeah. I'm impressed by the Ravens' resilience. They were struggling to breathe in the altitude and fought on. Proud of my Broncos as well dragging it into double OT

Wow, what a disappointing loss for Broncos fans. Not to take anything away from the Ravens, but the Broncos lost the game, not so much that the Ravens won it. Can't believe how poorly they played, in particular the defense! And forget about the overtime stuff, the game was primarily lost on the Broncos last possession in the fourth quarter. It was less than two minutes to go (Broncos up 35-28), Ravens no time outs remaining; Broncos with a third down and seven to go around mid field and what do they do? Put it in the hands of Peyton Manning? NO! They go with a running play which only got two yards! All they needed was a first down and it was; GAME OVER MAN, GAME OVER! They could've run the clock out! What a STUPID play call! Whoever made it should be fired! Instead they punt the ball and put it all on their struggling defense (who give up a big pass play that ties the game)??? Way to give the game to the Ravens!

Broncos had an awesome regular season resulting in the number 1 seed of the AFC playoffs with home field advantage and they squandered it. What a waste of a great season! And so disappointing!

All I hope for now is that the Texans or Ravens beat the Patriots, keep em out of the Super Bowl and I'll be a happy camper.

Otherwise, I'm really liking this Kaepernick kid! Harbaugh Bowl would be a heck of a game!

Although im a Cowboys man, I once again cursed teams I wanted to win. Denver and Green Bay fell apart and like evrry year I skip watching ESPN.
Now I can only hope New England OR Baltimore win the Superbowl. I have now doomed them

Peyton Manning, the indoor quarterback. Isn't he like 0-4 in sub 40 playoff games?

Yup, that's true. Always played in a dome in those situations. I think yesterday was the first time he's worn a glove as well. Looks like the cold is his kryptonite.

This is a pretty good summary of why the Broncos lost:

Denver Broncos' John Fox coached not to lose game

A classic football game was played on Saturday in Denver. Some team had to lose. When that losing team was the heavily favored No. 1-seeded Denver Broncos, fingers will inevitably be pointed in the aftermath.

The Broncos lost for a lot of reasons. They let the Baltimore Ravens receivers get deep too often. They couldn't run the football. Peyton Manning was intercepted twice, and the Broncos offense didn't consistently move the ball, scoring "only" 21 points in five quarters.

"The reality is, we had a good season. We got to the elite eight," coach John Fox said after the game. "I'd like to have been that team to hoist the trophy, but we're not."

The most inexcusable reason the Broncos lost: Fox played not to lose. He played like his quarterback was Jake Delhomme or Tim Tebow. He coached to his defense, which was not having a good day. Three examples come to mind:

    1. The Broncos got the ball back with 36 seconds in the first half and three timeouts. They took a knee and went to halftime.

    2. Leading by seven points, the Broncos had a third-and-7 with 2 minutes remaining. A first down there wins the game. They ran the ball to set up a punt. It's a defensible move, but you have the chance to put the game in Peyton Manning's hands. One play and it's over. If the play isn't there, trust Manning to take a sack or check it down to keep the clock moving. That's a situation Manning lives for. There's no one better.

    3. After the Broncos gave up a 70-yard touchdown to Jacoby Jones after a terrible breakdown in the secondary, the Broncos had 31 seconds left to try to set up a game-winning field goal. Manning took a knee again.

None of this comes a surprise to folks that have watched Fox coach a long time. But it's a shame to not even try to win with Manning on his side. The Broncos didn't go out swinging. They went out hoping not to lose.

I think Fox needs to go. Seriously, Manning's a vet. I have a good feeling if they at least squeezed out another down during the last 30 secs of the 4th quarter, we would have had it in the bag. I know Prater would be able to make it in.

San Francisco . . . & Baltimore. I didn't care about the Pats or Ravens, but I was hoping the falcons would beat the ******-bag Jim Harbaugh coached Niners.

Anyone see the video entitled 'Harbaugh Style'?
