My Epic 4G won't recognize my SD card

For some reason my Epic 4G will not read my memory card. When I go to the Storage section of Settings, it won't even allow me to unmount the memory card. It's as if the memory card isn't even in the phone but it is. I removed it, rebooted the phone, etc...still doesn't work.

Could there be any reason why it isn't working? The last time I do remember it working was before my girlfriend dropped my phone.

You said you removed it, but I would try to remove and re-insert it again. If that does not work, it may have been jarred while writing to it, and a new card may be in order.

Yeah, I tried my sisters 2GB mircoSD card and it worked fine. I don't want to spend another $30...:'(

You could try formatting the card on your pc.
