Anyone had to get an Epic 4G fixed or replaced without TEP?

How much does it cost? My Epic's USB port is extremely inconsistent and I can only get it to charge if I fiddle with it until I hit a certain angle. I know this means it will eventually become truly busted if I keep that up as the connector may break.

If the store determines it's a hardware problem, not related to abuse, it should only be 35$ w/out TEP. Some store techs will try to say you jammed the plug by abusing it and not cover it, others will just fix it for the 35$.

You may have to shop around and call a few stores and see which techs are willing to work with you and which ones won't...

Yup, cost me $35 plus tax. Tech guy said he had to solder a loose pin connector in the board.
