FC09 broke my phone :(
So, got the FC09 push the other day, was on a rooted rom so it failed. Rebooted, everything seemed fine, took me about a day to realize that my earpiece doesn't work when making phone calls now. Odd too, I don't even get the option to put it on speakerphone or bluetooth anymore. Full reflash back to stock everything and it still has the same issues. I find it too coincidental that it could have broken on its own, so I'll put it out here for suggestions. Already took it to one Sprint store, they didn't have a repair on site but tried meddling with it for a while and didn't get anywhere. Anyone know what I can do?
PS I'd really like to sort this out so I can get off the POS WP HTC Arrive I have to use in the meantime.

Re: FC09 broke my phone :(
If you Odin'ed back to stock then that should of undone anything and restored your earpiece. Sounds like by coincidence you had a earpiece hardware failure at the same time...

Re: FC09 broke my phone :(
I'll admit it does seem weird. If you do use Odin though and restore to factory stock it completely resets everything so I find it hard to point a finger at the update after doing that.
I do hope this can get resolved for you.

Re: FC09 broke my phone :(
Wow, so that was wierd. Turns out it was a sort of hardware failure that just happened by chance the same day I got the update. For some reason the headphone jack wasn't registering when I disconnected headphones, hence the no speakerphone/bluetooth options and no sound from the earpiece. Cleaned it a bit and popped in a pair of headphones a few times quickly and it is all cleared up now. Yay
