The keyboard is fairly easy to replace once you find a replacement Just a couple screws hold the whole thing together. Look for bad esn Epics or "broken/parts" ones that the keyboard is undamaged. They should be fairly cheap if you can't find the keyboard separately.

What exactly did you replace?
The buttons, or the board that sits beneath the buttons?
It could also be a short in the cable that leads into the main part of the phone.Sprint Galaxy Nexus [stock for now]
