Panorama picture feature on Epic 4g
Have seen this option show up on several reviews where the reviewer played with the camera app. However, this is the first time I've scene anyone show how it works. Up until now I've only scene the Droid X have this function built-in.

Wow that is cool. I was just trying Photo stitch last night on my Evo and it was a PITA trying to line up the next pic. This solves all that.

Panorama picture feature on Epic 4g
How about the iPhone photo stitchers? The photo looks like this: ~\~~~|~~~|~\. It's messy and obnoxious.

Yep. It's pretty good on on the Samsung phones. Not sure if it like it or the Droid implementation better ...

Panorama picture feature on Epic 4g
I've never had a phone with built-in panorama functions, so I can't comment.

That's pretty sweet. My friend has a Droid X and he showed it to me. I'm glad the Epic will have a similar feature.

Sweeeeeeet! That was something I envied on the Droid X.

Heck, I wasn't even NEARLY expecting this feature. This came to me as a complete surprise, so I'm really excited now.

From what I have read the Galaxy S line can take up to 8 frames almost 180 degrees for their panorama shot. Anyone with a Galaxy S confirm this?

The Droid X only does 6 frames and you have to manually press the button.
edit: I guess you don't have to push the button for the droid x but it does look a little slower compared to the epicLast edited by SoulLi; 08-25-2010 at 03:47 PM.

Knowing Samsung, they'll remove the feature altogether and say it's because of the slider keyboard!!!

Remove the feature and abandon their customers, such a great company in the mobile department. In all due respect though, I think Samsung has been doing a good job with the Galaxy S phone in terms of bug fixes. The problem is not short term support though, but long term support. Also, they seem to specialize in hardware and not really software.
