Default Any issue's with the EPIC?

Has any one experienced any issue's with the EPIC that would make you return or exchange it? I can't get my EPIC until next week (buying it at retail) and was just wondering if there's any issues or anything to look out for.

My SD card was bad and I had issues with the vibration not working, Sprint store replaced the SD card and vibration came on after a hard boot. We'll see if the issue reappears.

So far I find out more and more that this phone is awesome. Sound quality is good for calls, I can hear the notifications and ringers a bit better than my Captivate, I can keep the damn buttons from going out by having it follow the screen timeout setting, LED notifcation/Charger status light, and some other minor good things

Nothing bad so far that I have found.

Bad Screen Hinge, exchanged at Best Buy, and now all is well so far, except for a tiny bit of buckling of the chrome ring near the headphone jack - not at all worth returning though.

when using the camera, if you select "Self shot" you get -Warning- Camera failed. Camera app force quits and you are directed to the home screen.

On the other hand, wow is Samsung smart! I did not notice that by placing the speaker on the back, any time you hold it or place it on a flat surface, the surface or your hand causes a natural amplification! Now THAT'S what I call a smart design!

The only problem I have encountered so far was that I was getting "Download Unsuccessful" messages from anything in the market but after clearing my download managers app data everything worked great.

So far I have been loving this phone and it is amazingly better in every way compared to my Pre.

So, far... This phone f'in rocks...

The bluetooth response in my car cannot be compared to my treo pro... Instantaneous...

Dialing, sorting through the contacts, seems a little more burdensome the WM... I have A LOT of contacts... I liked being able to just start spelling a name witht the keypad and having the contact come up... Anyone know how to do that?

Haven't tested GPS, 3d gaming is pretty incredible that asphalt game is a lot more fun then I expected...

I likes it... A whole lot...

Edit: I will say the youtube quality leaves a lot to be desired... I think the moment had better quality... Haven't tested an AVI's or anything but will get to it tonight

    Default Dead pixels?

I have a vertical area towards the left of the screen that shows a "blurry" line from end to end. I didn't notice it at the RS where I picked up, but it is noticeable on black text/white background such as cruising the app store. On other screens it's fine. The store ran out of phones thought and their manager is gone for the day -- anyone know if I'll have a problem with an exchange? Everything else is perfect. And yes it is much faster than the EVO I had for 29 days.

sooooo. In the end there are little quirks like every other phone where they try to rush updates to fix the little things.

Doesnt really sound like anything that cant be fixed accept for the capacitive buttons maybe(ill pray for you guys)

still not deterring me from considering this.

Got the epic this morning and traded in my iphone for it and I must say I am very happy with mine with the exception of not being able to connect to my wireless N network??? Anyone have any suggestions on why it won't work or if it even will and also the buttons for menu and back ad all of those are very hard to use you almost have to punch the buttons with ur fist to get them to work! Help me out please like I said this is my first taste of ANDROID AWESOMENESS!

My only issue is not with the phone (its awesome), its with the dock. If the phone moves on it, the volume goes to zero. Only way to turn the volume up is to pull it off the dock, put the volume back and then place it gently in the dock. P.S. No issues with the responsiveness of the touch buttons. Been using the keyboard hard buttons mostly anyway since the phone is meant for more landscape use. Surprised how good the sound really is. Its amazing. By far the best speaker on any phone I've owned. Haven't tried out the earbuds.
