Those are other launchers like ADW and LauncherPro.
To change the icons, you need to theme them. Not sure if its been done on the galaxy s models yet, but there's an app called metamorph that may work (or may not yet). You need root.

Or you can get something like Openhome with pre-themed apps already installed in themes.

I dislike all of you. As soon as I get 4G in my neighborhood, I am officialy going to begin tethering my phone and my PC. I only get 5Mbps down and 0.6Mbps up.

You need to go into the settings by tapping on the icon and do a little tweaking. Eventually you'll be able to set a location and you'll get your weather.

Here's a couple of screens from my new Epic (took them with ShootMe, which worked perfectly the first try:

Picasa Web Albums - Cale - Drop Box

Sorry it's just a link; couldn't figure out how to get the images themselves to post using Picasa. Oh well...

Really digging the beautiful widgets app, and loving the customization possibilities with android (I'm a three year BB user)!

Pure Calendar Widget (paid app). I really like it. Its skinnable (in settings) to many forms: transparent, sense-like, green, blue, black...
