music app running mysteriously

Has anyone else had this happen? Frequently when I look at my phone it shows 1 program running, when it said 0 when I set it down. I open it up and it shows the music app that came with the phone running. No music playing, but it shows up anyway. This doesn't always happen, but it does happen more often than not. Is there some setting I need to change maybe?

I've seen apps start up the Music app in the background and it then hangs around for a while (sometimes it closes automatically, most times I have to end it manually). The Samsung dock home app does it for sure. I assume a random service can do the same thing, so that's what I'd check first.

well I did notice that problem more with the desk dock app so I removed it and it does it less but the problem still exists.
