So I picked up my first Epic on launch day. I couldn't upgrade until the 18th so I decided to add a line and take advantage of the 30 day deal until I could upgrade. I remember the radio shack guy pulling phone out of the box and battery was completely dead! Figured that was weird but whatever.

Today took phone back, cancelled the new line and picked up new phone. Picked out a phone that back button works great, like it should. I noticed it had a good amount of charge on it but didn't think anything about it until now. The phone charged up in about 2.5 hours. After about 6 hours and 15 minutes of fairly heavy net usage, some texting and roaming in a bad service area for 2 of those hours I am now down to 50% battery! Could it have been a batery problem with my last epic? Now mind you I spent a good while downloading all my apps too and getting the phone back the way I had the other one. I am using battery indicator! Anyone else recently get a new phone and have WAY better battery life with it?

Yes, there have been a LOT of problems with lemon batteries. Glad the new one works for you. I used JuiceDefender to save a battery.

Lol, my Sprint store gave a free battery to me. I had a back up the whole time! I wish all Sprint stores did this to customers unhappy with battery life.

Can you please post what is your device and battery build dates?? It is posted under/over the battery.
