Default 4G Outage in Metro Boston area?

Whether or not 4G has officially launched in Boston metro yet, I've been getting signal, and it's been great. I did speed tests and I've gotten up to 9 MBit downloads and 1.1 MBit uploads! Awesome! But right now (2AM on Friday September 24th) it seems to have dropped, and I can't connect at all. "4G Network Disconnected". I have a week 3 (I think?) Epic 4G and I've been getting sweet service until now... I need to tether since I'm a little behind on my Comcast bill, and I'm reverted to 3G, which is usable, but 4G is amazing and I would prefer to use it, since I am paying the $10 premium for it.

Is there an outage, or is it the fact that it's not officially launched in and around Boston and it'll come and go? I've heard that September 29th is the street date for the official launch. Is there any truth to that? I assume that because of http://forum.androidcentral.com/showthread.php?t=28593

    Thanks.

I'm North of Boston, but have 4G here. (Merrimac Valley)
My understanding from Sprint is that the official launch in Boston was a week or two ago.

Ah okay, it must have been a scheduled maintenance thing then, since the next morning it was back and it seemed tweaked...

    Thanks for the reply!
