calendar entry default to google calendar?
whenever i go to put in a calendar entry i have to change it to my gmail b/c by default it puts it under my calendar(phone) so b/c of that it wont sync. is there a way to make it use that by default for calendar entries?

No. It's a known issue.

I use the free app Jorte for my calendar instead of the base calendar app. Jorte lets me set a default calendar for new entries, it also has several nice calendar widgets.
