So, I searched the forums a bit but I couldn't find a thread about this exact problem. If there is one, feel free to direct me there.

I've had my Epic for only a short time, but recently I've noticed that when the phone times out to go into sleep mode, it wakes up again and does not go back to sleep. I have my screen set to time out after 15 seconds. So, after 15 seconds the screen goes off, but then about 1-3 seconds later will come back on and stay on until I hit the power button to put it back to sleep. After I do that, it will go to sleep and stay there (as far as I know anyway--I have taken it out of my pocket before and the screen was already on, but I don't think that's as big of an issue). I've tried uninstalling pretty much everything on my damn phone and it still has the same problem. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

I have had this happen to me a few times, I just put the phone back to sleep and it stays there, maybe a notification issue or something like that. It hasn't gotten to the point that it bothers me, just hit the button again, no biggie...

yes i know what your talking about it is a problem with the phone i just took mine to sprint today and they replaced it i thought it was the screen they also tried to hard reset it and do a software update ended up being the phone i am 100 precent sure
