Market updates

I was just looking at my gf's fascinate and she had the market updates already(related tab) and is still running 2.1 eclair. Am I the only one not having the market update? If that is true how do I update it? I was under the impression the market updates were for 2.2.

*I have an epic stock running DI18

No your not the only one my wifes has it on the hero and I dont. Im rooted but I never got it. I updated hers a while ago to the original update that gave.the comment tab by downloading the apk but I looked the other day and it updated itself. I havent got anything on my epic though.
If you want it you can do it yourself jusy find the apk.

Go to......
> Settings
> Applications
> Manage Applications
> Menu Button
> Show All
> Market
> Clear Data.....Done

Awesome, thanks for the reply. I'm probably going to do the manual update today to 2.2 and see if that updates the market.

My epics market updated when I did the manual froyo update. Keep in mind some of the apps in the market do not show up after the froyo update. Similar to how other updates to the epic have gone.

@txtmikhail, I tried that...it didn't work. Is it possible that because I manually upgraded to DI18 that I am not getting the market updates?

I did this on mine, market was updated at next reboot.

I didn't manually update I got mine already with di18 on it and mine didn't update. I asked this question a while back and a lot of people didn't get it

I'm stock with no Froyo leak or ROM loaded and I noticed that I had the "new" version of the Market this morning... I was getting errors when I work up but it's working flawlessly now...

thats weird i looked to clears the data on my market and i don't have it anymore. the only option i have is clear cache and i thought for sure i cleared the data on my market before. anybody else don't have clear data?

Mine has always said clear cache, which i assumed is what clear data meant. Unfortunately that method did not update my market version.

no i thought there was a separate tab that said clear data. maybe im mistaken i just thought there was. i hasve the clear cache too.

Either way, thanks all for the help. My market randomly updated a few minutes ago....with no restart or clearing cache.

Help! I updated my Epic (manually) to Froyo, now Sling player and Wunder radio are not in the Market? does anyone know how to fix this?

Slingplayer is not supported in 2.2 (froyo) according to slingbox.com. I reformatted my phone and found out I could not download my $30 sling app. Hopefully sling updates the app.

Did anyone else notice the the market just updated on the epic we now have the auto update and the related tab. Pls post if you received the update.

yup i did, its definitely awesome, my thing is i still go to the market and then check and i still have to install it, i thought that would be taken care of ? please correct me if im wrong

I've had the auto update option for a little while I believe. The related tab just popped up for me a few days ago.

Same here... I've had the "auto update" option since October (though sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't ::shrugs:: )... the "related" tab showed up just this past Sunday night / Monday morning...
