I wish I could say the same. I barely get 3g at home (that's neither here nor there, I live in the sticks).
BUT, I'm traveling for work this week in Dover DE. The hotel is a stones throw from the Dover Down track. I did some speed tests this week after I picked up the Epic. I got 2mb down and 3mb up on 3g. Than I remembered that it's a 4g phone (a feature I'm likely never going to get to use again), and got about 1.5mb down and 1mb up. Obviously the tower is more than capable of the higher speeds and capacity. Would look awfully bad at a Sprint/Nextel Nascar race with thousands of fans not able to connect
I tested it a couple more times over the past few nights, just in case I got a bad reading. Even tried a different speed test app. Always about the same.
Of course, location is everything. Full coverage will be better (the 4g was about 50%), 3g/voice was at 100%. Sprint keeps lighting up new areas.
