Sorry if this has been discussed already but I can't seem to add Facebook under accounts in settings. Facebook is an option to add but clicking it does nothing. I'm on Sprint and using the latest Facebook update from yesterday. I believe it's 1.9.

Anyone else notice this?

Google blocked facebook sync because facebook was not acting nice with Google. You need to find a 3rd party app on Google play.

Friendcaster will allow sync of contacts.

For some reason I can sync FB contacts on my Xoom WiFi running stock 4.0.4 but not on my GNex - didn't work with ICL53F, IMM30B, or IMM76K. Why would Google remove it from only 1 Nexus reference device?

There is an app called HaxSync (in the market) that will do this for you. It syncs to your Facebook contacts, along with images.

I use it and it works great.

I second that the Facebook app needs to be updated.

Friendcaster just seems to dump everyone into the People app, unless there's some hidden setting I keep overlooking. Is there any way to sync with existing contacts? I also don't know if HaxSync offers this functionality.

Noticed a couple of days ago that you can now add Facebook to accounts on my Galaxy Nexus. But running a sync still doesn't do anything. Hopefully this is a sign that they are finally getting this all worked out so people don't have to resort to using other apps to sync.
