Default Anyone having low/no service in places you used to with Gnex?

I went to a bar that I frequent a lot last night with my Gnex and I had no service the whole time I was there, when I left my phone started to blow up with notifications, I don't think it was Sprint coverage since I used to have service with the S4G in that area with no issues.

And it kind of sucks that my coverage is spotty at the two places I spend the most time...work/home but that happens with any carrier in my area.

Try resetting your 3g data using the instructions from the Sprint support site. "Program your Galaxy Nexus", at the bottom. You can get your MSL with the app What's my MSL.

You had me right up until the app.
I found only "Get my MSL" which would not give up the info.
The only other one I found was "MSL Reader" which requires root.

    Did I miss something?

We can dance if we want to. We can leave your friends behind. 'Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance, well they're no friends of mine.

My 3G speeds are way slower with the GNex than they were with my Shift. My primary complaint right now.. along with the screen sucking away the battery.

I don't think it's the screen. I think it's desperate for a signal and the signal polling is what is killing your battery.

I returned mine yesterday since the 3G was so poor. The phone is a screaming performer if not for the poor 3G/wifi/GPS radios. Samsung blew it on a great device. (same for Verizon's version - a lot of people complaining about the same issues) I certainly spelled out what I was seeing with mine to Sprint when I returned it, both online and in the store. Hopefully people will do the same and Sprint can get Samsung (or Google - is it an ICS issue as well? Some HTC One X signal issues?) to fix it. It's a great phone being wasted otherwise for those of us that travel and need a good signal in a variety of locations.

Yep. That's why I had to return mine and hope that the EVO LTE is better in this department. (I'd rather have kept the GNex)

If you see these issues, please let Sprint know so hopefully they can figure out a fix with Samsung/Google. Verizon has the same issues if you read those GNex forums.

Shoot you're right it's called Get my MSL, sorry for the confusion. I'm on the NS4G (stock unrooted) and saw a huge improvement in 3g after I did this, but it sounds like the app doesn't work on the GN. I think Sprint will just tell you if you call up and ask, as this data reset is exactly what a customer service rep would have you do if you called up complaining about data speeds.

Ill have to call and ask them to do this for me, I hope it helps because I love the phone but this has me concerned about how coverage its going to be for me around town and the last thing I want to do is play the exchange game with Sprint, I mean I would but I want it to be a last resort.

I fee like I am getting better data speeds then my EVO got. I have not used GPS yet though.
